Embroidered hi-vis
Hi-vis is the one category where branding and compliance have to be considered together. A garment is certified as a whole; badly placed embroidery over reflective tape or inside a required fluorescent area can compromise that certification.
How we handle placement
We work around the certified areas rather than through them:
- Left chest — above or beside the tape band, never across it.
- Back — company name in the panel between the shoulder tapes, sized to stay clear of both.
- Collar and sleeve — useful for smaller secondary marks on vests where the body is mostly tape.

Garment types
- Waistcoats — cheapest, worn over other layers. Limited embroidery area.
- Hi-vis polos and T-shirts — for warm-weather site work where a vest is impractical.
- Softshells and bombers — Class 3 outerwear for winter. The most embroidery-friendly of the range.
Thread and contrast
On yellow and orange base fabric, navy and black thread give the strongest contrast and stay legible at distance. Light thread on hi-vis tends to disappear in daylight — we will steer you away from it.
